Since 15 February 2017, a Notary Public must issue a notarial certificate and secure it to every notarised document.
SAL authentication
Since 1 October 2019, each notarial certificate must be authenticated by the Singapore Academy of Law.
Apostille since 2021
Since 16 September 2021 the SAL apostille applies for Hague-Convention countries β the SAL is the sole competent authority, and e-Apostille is available.
